I didn't become an esthetician because I had it all figured out. I became one because I didn't.
For years I struggled with skin that felt dull, dry, and persistently red, not dramatically, but consistently. The kind of skin that never looked quite right no matter what I tried. I was buying products, following advice, doing the things you're supposed to do, and nothing was working. What I didn't realize was that most of what I was using wasn't made for my skin at all. A clay mask, for example, was something I reached for regularly because it seemed right. It wasn't. Not even close.
Everything changed when I experienced a truly personalized facial for the first time. Not a treatment where someone runs through a standard protocol and sends you home with a generic recommendation. A real assessment, a treatment built entirely around my skin, and an explanation that actually made sense. For the first time, I understood what my skin needed and why. That clarity was the most valuable thing anyone had ever given me in a treatment room.
I wanted to give that to other people. Not just the results, but the understanding. I also loved the whole experience of it, the pampering, the self-care, the feeling of being truly looked after. I wanted to recreate that for others, and make it even better.
So I became an esthetician.
Five years later, I've built a private studio in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan where every client gets exactly what I wished I'd had sooner: a thorough assessment, a treatment that's built specifically for their skin, and the knowledge to care for it between appointments. No one-size-fits-all protocols. No pushing products that don't serve you. Just honest, skilled, deeply personalized care.

My Approach
Every treatment begins the same way: a thorough assessment of your skin, your history, your routine, and your goals. From there, nothing is templated. Exfoliation, technique, product selection, and post-treatment guidance are all chosen specifically for what your skin needs that day and where it's going over time.
I'm particularly known for incorporating advanced lymphatic drainage and sculpting techniques, including the Helena Pahava methodology, which go beyond surface-level results to address tension, circulation, and facial structure in a way most facials never touch. The result is skin that doesn't just look better in the moment, but functions better over time.
Every client also leaves with something beyond the treatment itself, a genuine understanding of their skin and the confidence to care for it. And while the results are the priority, the experience of getting there, unhurried and genuinely relaxing, is something clients come back for just as much.
